Okay so in November I decided to get on my old 2 year eBay account and start selling to get into IM. I managed to sell around $100 worth of items I had laying around here in less than 2 weeks and got my feedback from about 5-7 to 21. I sold more than 21 items but some customers never left feedback. I also got 1 negative feedback that was revised after being really nice to a buyer(I fucked up but learned my lesson). Soon I might start drop shipping as soon as my drop shipper gets back to me. My eBay is verified to the ass, as I provided paypal with everything they want years ago(including my own ssn) to stop my limit. I realized that my limit of 100/$5000 was actually pretty good when I started this november, something I wasnt aware of. After selling some items eBay even increased my limit to 150/$5000, which is awesome I guess and I also got yellow star. After talking to my drop shipper he gave me advice on stealth accounts and that if I want to make some real cash I will have to make them since my limit for selling is not much for the things I will be drop shipping. I'm pretty sure that I can increase it if I tell eBay but not sure what I will tell them. So anyway my drop shipper gave me many advice, a pdf and some links to show me how to do stealth accounts. I have some questions....

So if I do stealth accounts and I'm in the US, can I make a stealth account in Canada/UK and sell thru US? Therefore I don't need to provide a SSN. I'm planning on selling some VERO items and I have made sure that it doesn't get taken down in high quantity with watching items, is it still a big risk to sell 1-2 even on an account such as mine that is doing good? Will paypal ever give me my money instantly and not after 21 days? Paypal tells me I need to sell more on ebay to get this lifted and I heard that 25 feedback would do the trick?

Hahah, your selling fakes on ebay for massive profit, your accounts will get burned really quickly lol....

I have not sold any fakes at all, thats why I'm asking

If you wanna sell fakes its easy, just use a stealth...

Its not worth it, going to be a big headache and leave you with no account at all. VERO items arnt good to sell, especially on a new account. Also 25 ebay feedback wont help the 21 day hold on paypal. What helps is having the ebay and paypal account aged after about 3 months of continuous sale, being a top rated seller on ebay, also having the tracking to show it was delivered. Then they will still have limits but just not as high

Not always, 25 feedback is the magic number, but if your account has a spike in disputes you'll see holds on your money again. Also, I currently have one account with absolutely no limits (not even on branded items) within the fashion niche.

EDIT: you are correct in your method though, the limitless account has always used tracking, is aged, and has never lost a dispute/case or had bad feedback that I haven't been able to remove

The best stealth eBay accounts are USA accounts. UK accounts have "buy it now" limits placed for new
accounts and are a headache. You do not provide a SSN number with stealth accounts. All stealth accounts
are good for $20,000 per tax year without requiring you to automatically add a SSN number.

Hey BroGt,

Welcome back to ebay! I'm currently running my own ebay side business and wanted to mention that if you're just starting off, like I was, you don't want to just buy stuff and try to sell it. I've tried doing that in the past with worldwide brands and doba. Unless you know what you're doing, you'll just be stuck with garbage or you can't find anything.

What I've been doing is just going on amazon and finding high rated and bought items that ship from amazon or a FBA account that qualify for free shipping, take the picture and description and list the item on ebay, buy it now, for 30 days. You'll want to clear 15% markup because of the ebay and paypal fees. If you live outside the US, then you'll have a lower selling limit.

Once the item sells (60% do), you'll buy it off amazon, put in their shipping info, name and mark it with a gift receipt when possible. Then when they tracking number shows up, put it into ebay and paypal will release the money 24-48 hours. After you sell more they release the 2 day hold.

It doesn't sound like it would work because you'd think everyone checks amazon, but it's been working for me.

Hahahaha.... Simple but Genius! Do you actually make much profit though? I take it you sell high priced items for bigger profit margins, yes?

This might be a stupid question. But, are there any kind of Amazon markings on the box when you ship it as a gift?

I heard about this method before, and from what I can remember, yeah I think the buyer will realise it's from Amazon.

Hi,

Can anyone confirm that if you send via Amazon and mark as gift that there will be no indication that the item is from Amazon. I know this method it is touted online however, there is the danger that the customer will out your Amazon trick in their feedback yes?

Let me know on this one if anyone knows.

Thanks
