Hello everyone,

In this thread im going to show you how get old domains for a very cheap price.
Why do you need aged domains? Because GOOGLE loves them and that means that your site will rank better with an old domain!

1) First of all, if you don't already have, go and create an godaddy auctions account. ( I think there is a one time $5 fee to sign up )

2) Now go and install this chrome tool called honey, you can find it by doing a google search for : joinhoney .
This tool basically finds the best coupon codes and gives you some good savings. Normally I use to save about 10-40% each time I make a purchase at godaddy.

3) So now that you have the auctions account and the coupon tool, go ahead and find those aged domains!
Go to the godaddy acutions domain listing, click the "advanced seach" button and filter the domains by .com and .net , put min age to 8 and max age to 18. Also try out the other filter functions such as characters etc..

4) When you have found or won your domain, on the checkout page you will see this "find savings" button, click the button and Honey will automatically find coupon codes for you!

GOOD LUCK FINDING AGED DOMAINS!

Last week I created a godaddy auction account and within few hours they started asking for documents. First they asked for my ID card which I happily provided. Then they asked for the scan of my credit card, a statement from my bank account and so on... I simply closed my account..

Is this happened to any one?

I rather have domains with HQ backlinks vs an older age, but thanks this will be helpful!

I've never heard of this happening to anyone. Are you outside of the US?

meh - never heard of that shiat w gdiggity. but um yeah , get that set up and stuff and all but when looking for Aged domains, personally,
I like prpowershot at $27 one time (sometimes wonky , but CONSTANTLY updated, and from what i can tell , a smaller selection, but built in sorting options that make moonsy look like a yugo, i prefer it for speed and ease of use, BUT when that shits wonky .....)

http://moonsy.com/expired_domains/ which is f to the reee.

with moonsy , I usually sort by buy now, then sort by Domain Authority .I try and stay above 25-30,and at that point I find the PR3+ domains , then check their MS Site Auth And MS Page Auth for +10 each; I like to see some kind of backlinks too ,

SIDE NOTE: if no backlinks , I usually pass on that shit homie, unless its a PR4+ burner site with questionable pr ,BUT as u may know, G just updated PR so its wide open to score some high pr shit now and of course , u could burn it, or do what i do , which is targeted ,hand made content with links, pics, vids, written for my money sites, I dont sell my links either , unless its a url I wind up not being able to niche or vibe on , then Ill use leftovers on shit like Fight back net or private networks of friends

After i find a candidate ,I check if google has blacklisted it , search site: (candidate url here),next I check domaintools.com for drops (1 is ok , but 0 is the way to go), the webarchive.org for any pages that might be in their cache ( google sometimes uses this same cache),look for pr)n,Gambling ,Pharma , or ANY language that isnt your native tongue. From that point , I check with opensiteexplorer to double check PA and DA , then Ill round out with ahrefs.com for a BL check and see what the KW's look like .Backlinks ok , KW's no pr0n,Pharma or gamble ,and if I make it this far , the domain is as good as mine , THEN I use my SuperSekrit %40 off internal GDiggity codes [Note to self- this is just soapboxing, stfu fool] to snag that shit WITH privacy for less than $25. Godaddy has internal shit that , if you talk to those reps enough , you can extract all sorts of promo codes , I have a collection and some from buddies, but the good ones are still good , everyday and you just have to do the legwork to get em. Honey might be good, but if you do ebough business with gdiggity , you can get those codes without a plugin

Concerning the recent PR update
[I try and score 2-6 aged domains a month but I had to stop in october and wait for G to drop the ball-I assumed I would lose at least half my collection , but turns out I made some good choices - I only had %10 drop to PR0 and %33 lost a point-So Much WIN! In all I kinda evened out on the other %66 ,some dropped some grew) )

That is a good strategy, but it can be very time consuming to filter out domains with bad link profiles. Lots of the high DA/PA domains have 1mil+ links which is obviously very bad. I think domcop works better.

Also, you should try the Expired Domains website and load the list into excel. There are some excel files with scripts to help you sort them.

There is not easy to get aged domains, so I choose a way to buy a new domain then build the site and make it become as an established site.

My friend, the largest reason people buy these sites is to build powerful link networks for themselves. Aged domains can take a beating, especially if accompanied by high DA and PR.

Usually I use to pick out old domains with no backlinks that is related to my niche.

Exactly if you're looking to build your own network from the scratch you should start scounting around for old domains and sites. Or if your not planning to build a network you can you just buy related old domains to your new sites for almost the same price as a new domain and rank even better on the serps.

Nice stuff. I have been using this plugin while purchasing domains from Godaddy. +1 for it.

Yeah it's a nice plugin, i've been using it for a while and I really like it.

good tool, but sometimes it's keep checking for the best coupon & provide some bad one...:detective

you can simply try sites like moonsy, expireddomain etc to find aged domains with good backlinks as well PR
