eBay Automatically Limit Me to 5 Items per Month, Help Please.

My ebay account is over 90 days and I just started to sell 3 weeks ago. eBay limited me to sell 5 items only per 30 days period and asked for id and proof of address. I sent them but no reply for weeks and then I started a live chat with them.The eBay customer service from Dublin took 15 minutes to reply and asked for proof of ownership of merchandise.Is this mean I have got MC999? Is there any way I can sell more items on eBay?My listings are still active and nothing being removed. I don't know contact eBay customer service is suicide.

I got hit with the "Proof Of Merchandise" Stick. At the time i was buying and selling Electronics (eBay and Craigslist 100% legit). i Just called them, Had them look at my buying account and showed them where i was getting the product from. I would just show them an invoice from your supplier (or some other type of proof of purchase).

I can't get one yet, I was doing drop shipping on eBay at the moment.

Just show them a past invoice from your drop shipper. That should be good enough. Did you have someone leave you bad feedback? That is one thing for sure that will kick start all the security checks, next it will be your paypal account.

When you sell on eBay you will learn right away you cannot be honest with them because
they are not going to return the favor. Go stealth early and age your accounts!

Yeah like others said you have to show them an invoice, they want to know that you can fulfil orders that's all, you'll find Dublin are really easy to work with if you go in with the right attitude

if you submit the invoice and documents, you need to reply to them on the messages. It will take them 24-48 hours to respond. But to be honest, Id rather just ditch the account and go stealth. Dont deal with the headache and have to wait to see if you were approved or declined

so OP, I was wondering what finally happened with your eBay account did they accept your email invoice? Are you able to sell now and did your limits get listed? I know the eBay is a stickler these days and they have so many rules and so many obstacles toward making money. I like eBay, but it is definitely a slippery slope and one has to be very careful to make sure not sure if I'll have any of the TOS etcetera.
