doesn't make sense haven't done any blackhatting on this site, and and backlink profile is still the same as it was ranking... but suddenly everything dropped... is this site has been penalized or something? no messages neither.

if u didn;t made any black hat before and u are sure this is not the reason u lost traffic then yes,is 100% possible.

As there is a sudden drop in the search queries, it is must a google penalty. If Building Back-links problem - The graph would have decreased gradually not steep.
