Youtube tags question / how to increase views, subs

Hi! I know that its important to write equal video name-description-tags, but i'm interested how to find good tags for your content and how order of tags ( whats go first, what second ) works.

Look at my example: I went to youtube keyword tool and adwords services and found ~15 keywords to describe my content. There are 5 general and very popular tags and 10 not popular but they also suits my videos. I think I have no chance to appear on first pages rank with this most popular tags, but for 10 others its easy to appear there. Sure, there is much less requests, but I will be on top.
Also I put this tags to my channels keywords in order -> 10 low popularity, then 5 high popularity
The same tags are default for all my videos and after them I add specific tags (5-8 more) for each video.

Say please what you think about my strategy, is it good? I am glad to any advices.


At this time I have gaming channel, 2000 subscribers, 350k total and ~6k daily views. I make 5 videos per week and post them on my social pages ( twitter, fb ) and on related gaming forums ( 7 forums in total ). How can I increase my numbers? Maybe I forgot about some good methods, any

suggestions?

I always do more than 2 but less than 10. Just how I do it, but you will have to test it yourself. The best way to do it would be to check your competition who ranks at the top and see what theirs look like and what they use.
