Hi guys and girls i have a mental block i kinda get it or do i lol. Ok i'm new to GSA but believe i have things set up right apart from one section. This is what i want to achieve.

1) I want a high quality foundation its quality not quantity so i have set this to at least a page rank of 2 and must contain part of my keywords.
2) say my niche was Dental Practice i know i wouldn't rank for this as the competition is to high but i would rank well for say Dental Practice York ? So i would just target Dental Practice york as my main keyword (i think i have understood this right so far ?) Or would you still try to rank for dental practice ?

Ok the bit where i have a total mental block is the section Anchor Text (based on main keyword) i just don't get it is this referring to the anchor text on my page and how would i spin the anchor text to make it look more natural. I do believe i have everything covered apart from this section, i have watched video's googled etc etc but brain say's no. I'm not sure if its a case of i know the power of the beast and want it right first off lol. Basicly this is going to be like my tier 1 but want to build a quality foundation just not interested in spammy foundation at the moment. I'm sure you will put me right. I have only used one keyword as a example i do have more but i want to rank well first page at least on google and general search engines.

I do appreciate your time reading this and your reply's thanks in advance x

Kind regards

Paul.

You can use spintax {on|in} the anchor text field, or the URL field itself.

url1#{anchor1|anchor2|anchor3}

You can also let SER crawl your site and automatically get your anchors.

And oh, get a lot of keywords, it'll be used to scrape for target sites unless you feed it manually.

The anchor text section controls what will be placed in the links it builds to you. If you add pizza as an achor text and turn off all other options, it'l lbuild links like <a href>pizza</a> which is bad. So the other options cause the text to vary inside the tag, that's all that does. Below that it gives you full control over how it varies, etc, pretty neat in lowering your footprints.

I tried to get it to get the anchors from my sit it did it with the demo but couldn't get it to do it with the full version ?

I think both versions are the same. You get a few days trial, but it's the full version, no limitations.

If you are looking for anchor text suggestions/variations try ubersuggest.org

Ok what i want is the format of putting in anchor text will try to get the program to auto fill from my website again. But if i'm putting values in manually if i have a anchor text of say dental practice york or dental practices in york what are the other options in this section ie what happens if i have something in the secondary field i just don't get what its doing like total mental block. I know what a anchor text in html form and how its used etc, i just don't get what that section in the program is doing. I feel like a blonde who is not having a good day lmao.

Well the scrape of my site has worked and imported don't know why it didn't do it last time, If anyone can give me some good tips ref anchor section it would be really appreciated.

Since your main anchor is dental practice york, a recommended settings would be:

Primary Anchor ( ignored if you use the format URL#anchor in the url field ): dental practice york (or any anchor you set per URL)

you get to set the percentages SER would use it

Partial match anchor: {dental practice|dental services}
Secondary anchor: {dental services york|york dentist}
Branding anchor: (your brand/site name)
LSI anchor: {best dental services york|etc1|etc2}
Generic anchors: (set percentage)
Domain as anchor: (set percentage)
Use citation: -your brand/site name would appear contextually- (set percentage)
Anchor text variation: (set percentage)

It's pretty easy actually.

What Banchi said is 100% right. And you should remove the option to only post to pages with your keyword on them, that will DRAMATICALLY reduce how many links you can build. As long as you're using relevant content don't use that setting.
