Domain and affiliate links

Hi Fellows,

I just want to purchase a domain so that cloak and redirect my clickbank affiliate links which I use to sell products via Youtube.
Please can you direct me the best place to buy the domain for this job? Is just one domain enough while I want to promote different CB products?

You can get cheap domains at godaddy if you search for coupons...But I use NameCheap to register my domains, they are one of the main players out there.

So you say for my job the godaddy is the best place to go with? Where can I find the coupons you are talking about? What is a coupon really and won't I get ANY problem if I try to use a coupon for buying a domain?

To be honest I don't know what kinds of domains are good for my job?

A coupon is like a voucher code to get a discount. Domains are usually $10 or so, but Godaddy usually have deals for about 99c or 1.99. It doesn't come with whois privacy though, you need to pay extra for that.

The whois information is the name, address and contact details of the person who registered the domain, and it is displayed publicly on some websites. If you get whois privacy, then it hides your details and the privacy companies details are displayed. You should always get it if you can.

Godaddy is cheap, but their support sucks. NameCheap is good, and it comes with privacy free, but they are usually a little more expensive. Search google for each of their coupons and see which works out cheaper for you.

Namecheap are pretty good, use to use godaddy but had a few bad experiences with them and wouldn't use them for anything again.
