As many of you may remember we previously hosted BHW with Hostwinds. Their service was always professional and very innovative around any problems we could think of. We left due to legal concerns around the US space and crazy laws that were being pushed through at the time (since repealed) that impacted our rather unique position. An issue outside of Hostwinds control.

Let's face it - a server is a server, it's what else you can add that differentiates you and your company. I personally prefer the personal relationship you can build with companies the size of Hostwinds that have to go that extra mile and have the ability to do so. Unlike using the big faceless incumbents, we've all heard of issues that happen when you step outside the GoDaddy comfort zone - they shut you down first and ask questions later.

To grow in an industry that's dominated by services like those at GoDaddy you have to differentiate your product and Hostwinds definitely have succeeded in this regard.

We've hosting several of our dedicated servers with Hostwinds for at least 3 years now. As far as hosting goes, these guys have been awesome. We've chewed up GBs of bandwidth, gotten our share of spam complaints, and had server lockup issues, and they've all been handled within a reasonable amount of time and with Peter's personal attention when needed.

For your BHW needs, I can't say enough good things about Hostwinds. I'm a bit worried because his prices are too low - you guys go easy on them so my service doesn't suffer. :)
 
Just ordered a VPS package. I hate to leave my old provider but I just couldn't pass up the 45% off deal. Thank you!
 
Ordered both a VPS package and a web hosting package. Host gator plan is still going but I plan on switching.

I just want to say how incredible the support is. There was an issue with the copy and paste when I received my VPS information but they sorted it out fairly quickly. My emails were responded to right away and you guys set everything up for me just fine.

Look forward to using your service.
 
I was looking for buy a Linux VPS for host my couple of websites. I think I'm in right place at right time. Anyway I don't have any experience using VPS. So Please kindly clarify following things for me.
1. Permium VPS means Linux VPS right ?
2. If I want to host 3 WP sites each getting 1000-1500 hits per day which level would you recommend ?
3. If I want to use cPanel does it cost extra ? if so, is the coupon code valid for cPanel as well?

I have a ultimate business account with hostwinds. I have paid only for one month. Now I am thinking to extend it. I am unsure between ultimate business plan and budget VPS. Kindly tell me which one is better? Do it take a lot of time to configure the VPS? I want to host multiple wordpress site on it. I won't purchase cpanel and all those extras. Kindly reply fast as i want to get benefit of the discounts.
 
Hostwinds is best host I have ever used and have used many over the past 20 years. Get you two Ultimate Business plans with cyber monday price and will beat the he-ll out 99% other host. No comparison to Hostgator needed, not same league:)
 
Have bought one windows VPS will let you know how it goes.

I have one question:
I just purchased the VPS 2 days ago to try out the service at 99% discount. Would I still be able to use the 45% OFF coupon once my month is completed?
 
Any offers for existing clients, like can we upgrade with a promotional code?
 
I bought the VPS couple of days ago without extra IP. Now I think I need extra IP, can I buy the IP separately with the discount price?

1) Yes, you can install any of the major linux distros you want
2) I would recommend you start at a level 1 or 2, and upgrade it from there
3) Yes, cPanel is an extra $13 a month, This is literally the lowest price you will find anywhere

a Budget VPS plan, it generally going to be better than the ultimate business plan, however you really will need cPanel in order to effectively manage your site, unless you are an experienced linux admin

No, you cannot stack discounts. 1 Discount per Product, if you want we can switch you to the 45% off coupon now, and have you pay the full first month price. However we would not be able to stack the 45% coupon onto your package after 1 month
