Site Ranks Top with Invisible Links

Hey mate,

There's a site ranking top in most of the major brand KW in my industry using invisible (I suspect those are hacked) link. According to my observations, those links mostly are invisible links which are inserted into people's website. The code usually involve <a style="display:none">. With all those links, the site is getting huge authority and trust rank.

My question - do you know anyone provide this kind of service? I'm really interested to look at it and test something out. If you know anybody selling the service can you please pass me the contact? Do PM me.

They may or may not be hacked. I recall lots of SAPE links worked this way and they weren't necessarily hacked, just the site owner thought the year 2000 was really cool and he decided to try some old school black hat in 2013

Hidden links doesn't mean those sites was hacked. Webmasters sell text links but they don't want regular visitors see those links, because they make the website look stupid.

The links are mostly from English Sites, run on Joomla. Bet they are not from Sape though. What could that be?

it can easily be a network. Might be from CHINA ..if not Russia

1. Develop plugin for popular platform and insert a piece of code that checks your server for what to inject in to the page.
2. Add links to your server for the site you want to rank.

No hacking needed in a lot of cases. Just people installing "free" plugins or themes as the case may be.

It's Joomla's hacked plug-in for sure, it's not Sape. They won't share it with you.

Yes some still uses it but it gets slapped there and then. Wait till the Big G makes the move on this types of links then your gone. Sape just got slapped 6 months ago why use their model

I've been using some old type of cloaking for the past 10 years and google never figured out. It's just ridiculous. Sometimes things everyone else thinks to be gone still work just fine.

Just create the links and z index them -99 . Dont make them clear or transparent. Keep it regular text color and font. Can even H tag it. This is the closest white hat method you will get to this Black hat technique. And yes lots of people do this. I usually place it behind an image or z index -99.

hmm.. I'm talking about over 3 millions of backlinks, coming from over 4 thousands unique domains, in around 1 month time. I know the site is getting hit one day but what if they are not? In fact the same owner has a similar site running on the same model and monopolize the industry during the most "saddening time" (post Penguin, Panda). Just recent the old site got slapped and here come the new site.

Joomla's hacked plug-in? What's that? Is that a personally developed tool? Absolutely nobody will share but it's good to have more information on it.

Please stop saying hacked plugin. It isn't hacked. It was developed with that functionality built in to it. People install plugins without checking or knowing if the come with "features" like this.
