contact mods and wait, they might just agree if its for a genuine reason, but keep in mind they've already 1000 things to deal with so it might not really get priority/response.

Mods do not have the power/authority to change user names. Only Admins can do that.

I was able to change my username by asking Owner himself to do it and I had a real valid reason.So the answer is YES you can change username only if its for a valid reason and only admin/owner can do it.

Can you tell us your reason. My would be: "My user name is stupid, because you read it in English".

Or maybe I could do the direct approac: "Hey admin, listen, I'll get straight to the point, I want to change my user name so please help me".... or something like that.

i think you can change it 1 time/year but you need Jr. VIP or Premium membership .this is one of the benefits of Jr. VIP or Premium membership.i am sure is possible.PM Damien

Jazzc, above, said that if you have a "really serious reason" they would change it. It's anyone's guess what that might constitute. It may be that they would only do it if you were facing legal action.

But since there is a whole gaggle of mods in this thread, let me ask this: If I started up an SEO company and service here, with a brandable name, say "1337SEOGeenyus"...Would an admin let me change my name? Or is that not a good enough reason?

That sure is possible, however, I still don't make that much money to buy a Jr. Vip membership. If my school wouldn't get in the way I could focus more and probably make some $$ to buy this.

There is no rush but I would say it is worth it when you can.

Well, I am in this kind of situation,. contacted admin, still waiting for positive answer,,,,but nothing is happening...I guess there are more important things...
