An Not So Update.
Due to the hollidays I wasn't really doing much, however I did find a nice domain for my blog, I'm currently trying to earn the money to purchase it through Fiverr and iWriter, however it's nearly impossible to get a Fiverr gig and iWritter doesn't really do much for new users. My videos are currently at 33 views without any advertisement. I know that's not great, but as it's an educational video that hasn't been advertised I can't complain. The View->Subscriber rate is doing well however, out of those 33 views I obtained 19 new subscribers. My estimated earnings yesterday where at $7 however now it's almost down to $5, but that's google for you.
Once I get the money to get my blog going is when I expect to start seeing small results.

Another Not-So-Update
I'm still trying to figure out the best way to bring in viewers to my videos, while trying to make the money required to start my website. So far I've made $4 on iWriter, but they require a $20 payout and the things that people want written that are in my area of expertise are only available to "Premium" writers, which is ridiculous. I don't see how people expect to only get "Premium/Elite" writers on iWriter if they never give a new writer a chance, because sooner or later all of the Premium/Elite writers are going to leave.
The videos haven't gotten much attention and I'm still sitting at $6 estimated earnings for this month, we'll see what the finalized earnings were here in a few days.

What tool did you use for keyword research and why do you think its low competition keyword...

Keyword Planner. I believe it's low competition based on the research I've done throughout the forum. Either way, I didn't use it. I set up a blog doing something I'm interested in instead, so although it's not really a monitized target, it will surely bring something in over time.
UPDATE:
I've been gone awhile! I've had some things to take care of which has kept me off the computer, which really slowed my progress down. I noticed that the videos that I had posted weren't getting any attention, so I removed them and tried again, but changing the target a bit more.
I uploaded 4 videos, yesterday. They share about 150 views together so far. Going to continue making videos, as this is a series.
