Just one more update... It's been holding strong all week. It has been surprisingly capable for a 1GB ram VPS. SER ran all night at 125 threads / 10 projects and ended up with about 15,000 links. (Would be better with more proxies, which I just ordered more of.) When I was with my previous provider I could basically flip a coin on the server crashing overnight at those same settings.

Really impressed so far. I'm in no way affiliated with them. Just wanted to share my experience since I know a lot of people are looking for a good budget provider. Some will argue that $18 a month for 1GB isn't budget. (Which it is, IMO.) But you really seem to get what you pay for.

mikaseo, yes it does work with Teamviewer. I used it myself. Remote Dekstop is a better solution though.

With VPS you get a Dedicated Configuration while with shared hosting, you share your resources with others. Host Gator are very costly and they have been having a lot of issues recently.

Is there also a trial available? Because my PayPal account got limited so I need a trial VPS to create a Paypal account. Is that possible?

My initial impressions after a couple of days.

1 - Activation took about 12 hours. Not too shabby. Especially on a Sunday.

2 - After being with a small handful of other companies over the years I forgot how nice it is to have a server in the US. The others have been in Germany (Berman), Portugal (TrustVM) and, I think, France. (Host-Stage.) Way back when WebsiteServicePlus was around I had a server based in LA and it felt nice and responsive. In the past I've also run some stuff from Virtualbox on my own desktop / laptop. PowerUp gets pretty close to that in terms of responsiveness. It hardly feels like I'm using a VPS. It's that responsive and fast. With Berman, for example, I'd click something and it could literally take a few seconds to refresh on my screen. Felt like I was running through mud.

3 - I thought the Raptor plans were 100MBPS. To my surprise a free upgrade to 1,000MBPS was included. Maybe this has always been the norm? Either way, it was a nice addition at no cost!

4 - I haven't done much aside from some Scrapebox harvesting and checking, along with setting everything up. But so far so good. No weird / random "lags" or periods of unresponsiveness. (Had these types of issues with TrustVM, which is why I switched over.)

5 - I guess my only, and this is minor, complaint is the lack of a control panel for Windows users. If something happens and the server is inaccessible you have to submit a ticket. I needed a restart and it took a little over 4 hours. That being said, it's such a rare occurrence that it's not even really much of an issue.

Really happy with everything after a few days! Super fast and responsive. I can definitely see myself upgrading to the 2gb plan once I transfer GSA SER over and push it a little further than I have been.

Yes, there are slightly cheaper "budget" options. And I've tried plenty of them. (TrustVM, Berman, Host-Stage, WebsiteServicePlus) But after my initial impressions Power Up comes out ahead in terms of speed and responsiveness.

I just got done talking to the owner on skype. Poweruphosting and BHW are currently experiencing a DDOS attack, the one against poweruphosting being of the order of 50-60 Gbps. They are currently working on filtering the traffic.
