I want to join the affiliate program too. And I want a lifetime discount for Poweruphosting too. What do you mean by anonymous proxies? if I use public proxies and suddenly the proxies died off what should I do? Since the public anonymous proxies died off 4-5 hours usually. What is the solution for public proxies? I don't want to buy private proxies. So public proxies can be used ? if public proxies died off ? its ok? if its ok I'm subscrbing to lifetime. Thought I'd just drop a post here and edit it once I've had a chance to check things out. I'm a fairly light user so the Velociraptor One plan looked pretty good. I've been with a small handful of budget providers over the years so I can definitely give an honest comparison / opinion. I've heard great things about Poweruphosting so I look forward to getting things up and running!

hi,so i registered 2 website month ago and purchased hostgator host,i'm not running seo bussines right now becaz,now i'm just learning from this forum,so now i want to begin my journey,so i have question, what is difference between hostgator host and your host ? why is vps hosting better than shared hosting ?
My initial impressions after a couple of days.
1 - Activation took about 12 hours. Not too shabby. Especially on a Sunday.
2 - After being with a small handful of other companies over the years I forgot how nice it is to have a server in the US. The others have been in Germany (Berman), Portugal (TrustVM) and, I think, France. (Host-Stage.) Way back when WebsiteServicePlus was around I had a server based in LA and it felt nice and responsive. In the past I've also run some stuff from Virtualbox on my own desktop / laptop. PowerUp gets pretty close to that in terms of responsiveness. It hardly feels like I'm using a VPS. It's that responsive and fast. With Berman, for example, I'd click something and it could literally take a few seconds to refresh on my screen. Felt like I was running through mud.
3 - I thought the Raptor plans were 100MBPS. To my surprise a free upgrade to 1,000MBPS was included. Maybe this has always been the norm? Either way, it was a nice addition at no cost!
4 - I haven't done much aside from some Scrapebox harvesting and checking, along with setting everything up. But so far so good. No weird / random "lags" or periods of unresponsiveness. (Had these types of issues with TrustVM, which is why I switched over.)
5 - I guess my only, and this is minor, complaint is the lack of a control panel for Windows users. If something happens and the server is inaccessible you have to submit a ticket. I needed a restart and it took a little over 4 hours. That being said, it's such a rare occurrence that it's not even really much of an issue.
Really happy with everything after a few days! Super fast and responsive. I can definitely see myself upgrading to the 2gb plan once I transfer GSA SER over and push it a little further than I have been.
