it should be 40% for 1st spot I think, and 1% click is so low, you can optimize to get the best

How did you get $30? 1500, 50 users searching a day, 10 unique visits a day. If 1% click on an ad, that means in 10 days you should get 1 click (100 unique visits) which is $2. Thats only $6 a month, how did you get $30?

You can expect to earn more than $30 a month for a single site, the goal here is to go for high cpc niches, and rank them. I have a site in the finance niche making near $200 a month from yahoo answer traffic only, its not even ranked on 1st page of google
