just what the title says, i am about ready to crawl into a hole and die, since i got ripped off with the deal on my truck, i have been stuck home, hear constant complaining from the gf about me using her comp, just wish i could have some luck for once. well thats it i am out, i may be around, how long i dont know.

I hate to say this but you have to make your own luck in life. For most of us, it's not how you a play a winning hand that counts but how well you play a poor hand. Get some counseling so you can some perspective on your life and your own expectations.

IM is not for everyone.... but if you give up on IM then you will probably give up on everything else when it does not go your way. You don't win that way.

Sometimes its good to just go on a break and do other stuff. Get a normal job, do that for a few months, save up some money then come back gun blazin - re-energized.

To get success there needs to be failure. At least you have a gf, somewhere to sleep, place to eat. Kick the gf the fuck out if she is being crazy or go move somewhere else. Your situation is really not that bad

Try sleeping behind a church stairway in -20 (Celsius) with a windchill at -30. Not being able to eat on weekends because the once a day free meal you get at the same church is only open Monday to Friday. You cannot get hired anywhere because you don't have a phone number or fixed address. Experience that and then come back and tell me how rough your current situation is.

The worst thing you can do is give up. I fully understand your situation and keeping your head up even when you're surrounded by a "down" situation is the only way out. Stay positive regardless of your circumstances and keep trying in life. One day you'll break through the "shell" and be free to do whatever it is that your aspire to do.

As mentioned by another member, take a break from IM and go get a job. This will relieve you for a while (Financially Speaking) and will allow you to save up some money so when you get back into IM you'll have a better foundation to start on.

you are not even close to it. I lived it. I know what it is like. I am sitting pretty now but I appreciate and understand the situation I was in and do not forget it. Keep focusing on your goals and remove anything that is slowing you down. Including your gf. In this situation you can only look out for number one. Yourself

This 1 made me laugh. I used to go through the same thing, but now she lets me work without saying anything. I wish I could explain why this happens now, but I really don't know why. I guess she knows we need the $ more now than we used to or something bc she lost her job.
