Greetings!
Lately, I have gone from nothing to #1 in Google SE as well as Bing and some other search engines as well. Before we get into my success story I would like to tell my old story were I got my ass kicked and thrown out of the Google SE. This may be unnecessary for you as you?re looking for some success tips, yet this is our lesson to get success in Google SE.
I have gone to #1 and some of keywords are in #3, #2, #5 and so on.. This doesn?t happen in one night. Before I started this blog (one that is going quit well for now), I started a blog that strictly concentrate on products and have invested so much (much I can afford at my level). I thought doing some blasting SEO with some products could turn the traffic towards my site and instantly I could gain profit through my website. Obviously, this is plan of most of the newbie in IM, I can?t compliant that because that?s what we?re here for, for hot cash!
Hence I have done all the SEO things, to be honest I dint cared about the content, as I m launching a product website, I didn?t had many to do with contents. As days passed and months too but I haven?t seen any visitors who are really willing to buy something!! And later all that seo stuffs made my blog ass kicked and Google just took me out of chart. At that time I thought ?This is not the place where I belong?, as most of the people would turn around and start doing something else to make money, like them, I also a ship who followed their trail whatever.
I have started to work in a small F**king company, and that damns drained all the energy from me and pay very less. As I didn?t had many options with me I stuck with that work for a year or so. One day I really started to think what the f**k was wrong with my website and why it let me down. And tried to work out all my negative things to make it positive.
Sorry for boring you with my story, by before you knew how I succeed in this, you should the slam I had before it happened, as it for newbie?s it could be motivating as a looser could turn around things why can?t US! This torch in your face is the first and foremost thing in getting success in anything you try. Let?s get on with things that helped me to rank higher! Literally this will be a comparison between Old ME and New ME!
I stated a blog again- this time I stick with the content and user part of websites.
Purchased a theme- to make the users stay a pleasant one. (Make it unique)
I started to write for some low competition keywords (it is so obvious many seo nerds would say the same lines over and over again), but I gone to some deeper stage (targeted keywords that only had 100 visitors per month). It is not advisable if your blog is too good to go with some medium competitions. Anyway something is better than nothing, so something in low competition is better than with high competition in my point of view.
Initially, nothing happen to change but this time I m not giving up (I wrote this on my head), and tried tried tried and finally I ranked one of keywords.
Things to Do To Rank as a Newbie
First thing- target the low visiting keywords- make it large including all the corners it has. Have some sub keywords on those particular keywords. Eg: top 10 wrist watches for this main keywords take the subs like best wrist watches, cheap wrist watches, popular wrist watches etc (do use this keywords is has high competition and low searches)
Be patience- you cannot rank your first post unless you are the first to write it. Let the Google bot to make some decision on your website, to make it in positive way keep it coming back for more more (post at least one quality article with user in mind).
Important thing- do it for viewers, rather than doing it for SE make it for users (literally your audience will do the SEO thing for you if you give super entertaining and useful content).
If you can?t create some quality content then hire some skilled writers, read them and if you love the way they write then hire them to complete you website.
Once your posts are ranked, may be at least one from your website (whatever #1, #2, #3 or even in #10) you website will generate some visitors. This is where you have to make the move.
Do stuffs to engage them, like gaming on your blog, suggest post that will make them curious to read it. Eg: how to make $100 day from your home.
Trust me when it comes to earning 7 out of 10 people will click them, but there are many other things to.
If you?re too good they can?t leave the page without sharing it, bookmarking it, connecting it from their blogs (what people do in seo), but this will make your users to do it.
if you have read so far, you can see I wrote the heading to get you in and carried you here with my content, this is what you have to do with your website, if you have someone people to see your work, make them see all the things you have in it..

One small thing I was trying to convey with this post, don?t get frustrated like you do now, reading 1000 words is not the matter when you can use them in your blog. Stop worrying about SEO and start concentrating on content.
