The worst part of it if you get it while previewing a post it STRIPS all the formatting out and gives you the special pleasure of starting over!!!!

It is most likely another blackhat fourm doing this. Most have special budgets set aside just for DDoS attacks. There goal is to bring BHW's website down in the search engine, and bring theirs up. Google also measures ranking by the site speed and accessibility. If you are being DDoS, you can't have those traits.

Its not about DDOS I'm afraid. Its about poor service by Cloudflare.

you do realize that cloudflare isn't slowing down the site, its actually preventing the site from going down completely.. not to mention it also offers a cached version of the site.

You should be happy BHW pays for services such as Cloudflare, because in the long run it deters DDoS attacks and acts as a last resort cache of the site if the server does go down.

Wow are you serious. just to humor you for a second.. say you're right and BHW is "doing the same thing the government does". Would you prefer that the government not react to threats of terrorists? Do you honestly think the government wouldn't step up security and induce more check?

Same thing here.. when there's a very obvious botnet attack, BHW's DDoS protection service (cloudflare) is going to make sure you're not on the botnet.

For me i am not able to get to blackhatworld 9 out of 10 times,But i am facing this issue only today before that when i faced an issue with bhw was last month when bhw was DDOS attacked and moved to cloudfare.
Those 5 Seconds seems to be never ending .
Anyway i'll wait as i know MODS are doing there best to fix this issue.
