How do you guys pick niches?

I have a website right now that I've put a ton of work into, but it has failed to make any money. I think it's because I chose a crappy niche and hence, got crappy keywords.

So what's your process for picking a niche? I'm just kind of lost here...

Well, you can start with Google Trends to pick up some quick keywords. Google Trends Keywords + AdSense equals out to good money if you get the KeyWords ranked!

Find something that you like to do personally and others like it as well then choose that certain topic as your niche.

i am a niche finder , it is not easy to find a gooooood niche.

some people pay $xxxx in seo but want a good niche for $5

to the op. check out google trends, cnn.com, listen to the radio, watch tv go on addmefast and watch what comes up there are so many ways. the main thing once you believe your on to something try to put in a lot of work checking out your competition and finding if you have a pot of gold waiting for you

I think and i do get niche ideas from B2B websites .. There are lot of opportunity. picking up niche from B2B sites , checking with Adword tools, G trends etc will help you to get good niche at least for me , its working ..
