So, here's the deal, I'm doing some market research for a new hosting company, and I'm looking for the help of my BHW bro's for it.

Would you prefer provider X over Y if X had plans made specifically for bots? (like Vagex, YouLikeHits, AddMefast bots etc...)

If a VPS comes with bots pre-installed, would that be a plus for you?

If a VPS comes with bots pre-installed and licensed, would that be a plus for you?

How much would you be willing to pay for a VPS of those specs:
Windows/Linux
2gb Ram
50gb HD (100, 200, 500 upgrade available)
100mb port
1 ipv4, 3 ipv6
+ bots pre-installed (if the client so desires)

How much would you be willing to pay for a VPS of those specs:

512mb Ram
50gb HD (100, 200, 300, 500 upgrade available)
100mb port
1 ipv4, 3 ipv6
+ blots pre-installed (if the client so desires)

I stare at CPU and RAM because those are generally the features that differential VPS from shared hosting.

I prefer linux to host websites (i find it more stable). But it seems like you're looking at VPSes with bot on them. So again, look at the resources (ie ram and cpu).

You're not going to get a price that accurately sums up what those two packages offer because
1. it's not all about the specs. service, customer service, addons (daily backups?), etc.
2. we don't really know what your needs are. you need to assess whether or not you're going to be using at 512mb RAM and all the tools on the vps.

Good luck!

I own my own software - but you always see people posting looking for VPS's with tools with real licences behind them -- because cracked software just doesn't cut it in the long run.

Reliability / Speed and Price are important to me ... and something that shouldn't need to be said -- but when I have an issue I want someone to answer my email within 30 minutes to let me know that - we can work together to solve the problem -- there's nothing worse than 24-36 hour support times.

SUPPORT, SUPPORT, AND....SUPPORT! Oh wait, don't leave out performance.
