I'll take it that everyone is just blowing off some steam regarding Google's product because you all know in a large organization all product development is siloed with little interaction between the different development and marketing teams. Even if Matt should read this thread he'll just grin and move on to juicy threads about how the newest Google update has screwed somebody's business.

I used to be a huge fan of gmail, and although I still use it I've found that their UI gets worse and worse every iteration. It now takes me a whole ton of clicks to do any sort of editing in my emails, and they don't put labels on any of their buttons so I'm never quite sure if I'm deleting an email or reporting it as spam.

As much as I hate to admit it, I'm actually considering Outlook.com as an alternative.
