I have a digital product. I've seen some sites that have a time sensitive download link that cloaks the real download file and directory. You buy it and 3 days later the link dies.

How is this done?

The two programs that I've seen used most often for time sensitive download links are below:

Code:
http://www.dlguard.com/dlginfo/index.php

Code:

There is software (as mentioned above) that does this. However, depending on the product you are selling, you may want to consider just emailing it manually after you review each payment. It will depend a lot on what exactly you are selling, but digital products can attract a LOT of fraudulent payments. So be careful.

I use DLGuard for some of my digital downloads as it has a lot to offer in my opinion.
You can setup single items, memberships and also a cart feature.

I use DLGuard.

It uses the time-limited download feature you're talking about.
More important, it allows you to store your files outside the www-root of your site.
This way it is impossible for the download-files to show up in search engines.
So no easy downloads for those who want to get them the free way.

Thanks all. I'm going to evaluate e-junk and then get DLG if it fails. Great recommends.
