What Time should I start waiting in line for ps4 ?

Im in NYC and as many of you know the PS4 is being released on Friday. I have never stood in line for anything so this is fairly new to me, but I feel it is worth it for the ps4.

My question to you guys is at what time should I go on Thursday to get in line?

Also to you NYC BlackHatters, what bestbuy or store would you recommend me making a line at?


PS: I am not trying to camp out. The most I am willing to do is to stand in line in the afternoon on the day of the launch. Sleeping in the streets during the winter is not for me.

I remember people camping outside stores for the PS3. And it was on sale with discount 3 weeks later. I wouldnt sleep on the street for anything, certainly not an overhyped gaming system that will be very average compared to a good PC.

I don't understand people that camp out to get this stuff. Like the new iPhones, new gaming system etc. In my opinion, none of this is that ground breaking in terms of technology/upgrade, it's nothing I would camp out for, but to each their own...

I already do make tons of money and its on autopilot so I can waste a few hours in a day to get the ps4.

I doubt you'd have to wait very long for all the stores to re-stock on the ps4's, so I'd advise you to not even bother because there's going to be so many Asian families waiting on those lines to buy and re-sell that it just isn't worth the hassle (Im in NYC and that's how it works with *hot* new products).

Damn, Im so mad at myself for not pre-odering it. I was on vacation when pre orders started and I told myselff I would preorder when i got back in august. Epic fail.

I doubt it's gunna be hard. Sony isn't stupid, they definitely have the second shipment ready to go as we speak.

The only people who camp in lines are the ones who resell it for more $$$. Maybe 10 - 20% do it for the console.

Just go to the nearest best buy to you. I live a couple blocks from the Columbus circle best buy so Ima got there. If you're under 40 I wouldn't mind waiting in line with u if u want.
