6,036 likes in 5 hours?

I just came across a facebook page that had 6,036 likes and it was only created 5 hours ago.

I saw it on a share.

Of course it was a XXX Video bla bla bla page, but I'm amazed at how fast the word got around.

Any ideas on how something like that got started?

It's easy, film some chick taking a piss without her knowing and leak it on a facebook page. If you have IP cameras and a public toilet near by, you'll get all the content you need for a viral page.

xxx pages increase fast and die fast

I have several pages +100k likes. I could make a page with 6k likes and less than 5 hours. Not so hard when a big page (or more) help you.

Ive seen many pages with 2M+ likes in 24 hours.
I also came across this facebook > /pages/Interesting-Things/236486913157711
for 2M to almost 6M in last 30 days....
why not? lol, think big lol

If you have a million likes fan pages of even 500k 6k likes in five hours is no big deal.
