So the actual fulfillment of service portion of this service is what really gets me. How do you actually improve their brand reputation?

I know you can tell them to hand out fliers to their customers to write good reviews, but thats already a bit grey hat

And then on top of that, if there are existing bad reviews, how do you go about removing those?

Confused...

Any info on how to add more good reviews or remove bad reviews, and any other situations which come up would be appreciated!

You push them down with good reviews.

^ This. You don't "remove" the bad ones. You gain the reviews from the instructions outlined in the 7878 official thread. If you want additional methods, you're going to need to think outside the box.

That's right. Don't fall for 'negative reviews removal' service or any of those sort. Most of the time, it doesn't work.

The best practice of rebuilding your reputation from poor reviews are:

1. Get more good reviews to cover the poor ones. Eventually and overtime, the good reviews (and most recent) shows up top and bury the poor ones.
2. Tell your clients (or perhaps yourself), to reply to those poor reviews and apologize. This shows responsibility to others.
3. Try to reach out to that disappointed customer and resolve the issue. Hopefully, they will remove that poor review on their end.

Based on your signature originalposter, you've created a whole business out of this or what?

I was just like most users here, inspired by 7878's ORM method, took action and grew my business.

I just took an extra step and developed a more advanced and professional platform for my ORM clients which allowed me to convert prospects to long-term clients at a much higher rate. If you are interested, you can do the exact same by following 7878's guide.

Forget the reviews and push the review sites down in the rankings. You'll never get enough good reviews consistently to stick especially on sites like Yelp. Push them off page 1 and even further down and the negative reviews are not even relevant because nobody finds them.

AH I see, incorporating SEO tactics in as well.. badass

what about google reviews that are linked to the business's physical location and website?

Google reviews are much tougher. The best way to handle that is to have a postcard to send to clients asking them to leave a review. Keep the postcards at the front desk or mail home after a customer has left, try to mail them the same day. I don't know of any way to get rid of the Google reviews, but Google is at least honest, Yelp is ridiculous.

Google will keep both good and bad reviews so you can hopefully get more good reviews to outweigh the bad reviews on Google. Yelp will just filter all of your good reviews wasting your time.
