Hello BHW,

You might roll your eyes and think "Oh no, not another one!" but none of the other threads I found here quite fitted what I need.

I'm trying to find an adult friendly free webhosting provider so that I can test some scripts and templates to see which ones will be best for my site before I get fully fledged hosting. As other threads have said, it's a minefield trying to find one, especially if you have certain requirements.

I need one that behaves like normal webhosting in that I will need to be able to create my own databases and have access to the server files to upload as I please. Most that I seem to be finding are sort of "hosted blogs" which let you create a blog using their preset script, but that won't work for me as I want to test with different CMS and have full access to edit the templates and files I'm uploading. Since no-one is intended to actually use the site, ones with low space/bandwidth caps would be fine, I'm really not going to use it to those limits.

Basically, what I'm looking for is something exactly like 000webhost (which is excellent, and I've used previously) but that is adult friendly, because they are strict about that kind of thing and do regular manual reviews on your site.

I hope some of you guys can help, and I thank you in advance for any responses I might get.

I haven't tried these but it looks promising

If the site is only for testing you could use wampserver on your own computer

Thanks for your quick response. After a quick skim over that VirtualAdult site, it does seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. I'll look into it and see what it's like.

Might also check out wampserver, never used it before, but it would certainly make testing easier if I weren't doing it on live sites.

Any more suggestions are more than welcome.
