does anyone know of any other way to accept payments other than paypal?
something people would feel comfortable using to send payments?
my accounts are limited & i'm just tired of going through the new account process all the time.
i was thinking about using google checkout, just wanted to know if there's anything else before going with the first that came to mind.

Payza, Skrill, Payoneer, Perfect Money, Webmoney, ....Bitcoin

Go with a known brand like Google and Amazon. Do not use websites which the regular costumer never heard of.

People in general are already afraid of buying online stuff. Do not make it harder on you!

Paypal really sucks..

I would recommend you to go for perfect money..

Thanks

GayPal Sucks but is used by almost everyone
Perfect Money gives you Seller or Buyer Protection you cant open a dispute against seller money sent on PM is money sent so i dont think its a alternative

Use a portal that accepts Visa/MC/bank echeck as payment, like Wepay, as a debit/credit card or bank is the most widely accepted form of pay.

Paypal might suck but I'll absolutely assure you that if you switched to Google or anything else your sales will drop off a cliff.

Most people already have paypal so buying is easy as 1-2-3 - having to sign up for an account etc with google or whoever is a pain in the butt and who wants to bother for 1 purchase?

I actually measured this the other way round - used Google first, sales were crappy, switched to paypal sales went through the roof.

The credit card chargebacks fraud is Paypal's no.1 problem they couldn't do anything about it but to side with the bank. Unfortunately, there are really no other good option that can be at par with Paypal.

Don't know what is your product, but I highly recommend you FastSpring.com!
Besides credit cards you can accept through them Paypal as well.
They have very good API as well.

PayPal sucks for big transactions. I have reached the cap of 3300$ per year and now i cant lift the limits... Also my country is still not supported by PayPal. Also i find Skrill very buggy. First i had problems with verifying the credit card, then with withdrawing money...
Best method is Wire transfer according to me
