I am trying to get some advice on how to get a page re-crawled by Google on a site I DO NOT OWN that has removed a link to my site.

I have tried a few pinging services and none have worked. I want to find a process where I can also repeat this many times over.

Does anyone on here have any tips for me please?

normally pinging should work.. just take a note it might not crawl the pages instantly and it will also take time for Google to process the data and stop showing that the site has a backlink to your site

I have tried every pinging service I know, and waited 5 days now. The webcache.googleusercontent date is still the same.
Do you have any you can recommend?

either wait or build new links and force google to visit that site again.

Cheers.

First off it would be easier to request the blog owner to crawl that url again using their webmaster tools. secondly ( and i'm not sure if it works or not ) i heard on a moz whiteboard that commenting on a thread helps bump it up on the crawl priority.. but that totally depends on if they webiste owner has set up or allowed website to crawl comments.. ( this probably wont work with facebook or disqus comments though )
