Is namesilo a reliable registrar for domain transfer?

I am thinking of transfer a domain to namesilo from GD, as they offer $8.39 transfer, ($7.39 with coupon applied).

Should i move on?

I've been using Name Silo for a few years and at this point I have almost my entire portfolio of domain names registered through them. I realy like their domain management back-end and the speed with which they get things done. I've never had a single problem with them, and I'd personally recommend them to people seeking a good registrar.

I think you can transfer to Namecheap for $5. Prefer that over Namesilo although Namesilo isn't bad.

I've just starting transferring domains to NameCheap & so far I like what I get for the price & the way it's setup.
I'm not too happy w/ the customer service when it comes to needing an answer for a technical question, but happy overall.
