Question about monetary value of pagerank

But, out of interest, what is the value of a PR4 domain, without taking any other factors into account.
Assuming the pagerank is real and not fake, and assuming the rest of the site has some of the pagerank filtered down to it also.

I doubt it wouldn't be worth more than the original price of the domain given that the domain has no traffic.

For a PR4, that is legit you can take it for upto $100. (assuming no traffic and all)

If the stats are good enough a PR 4 domain's market value can be between 100$ to 150$(In extreme cases they even reach 200$ if DA is good)

Now PR alone won't fetch you enough since there are other factors involved...The main ones are listed below
1) DA
2) PA
3) How clean is the link profile. If it has chinese spam or any other man made spam then I would avoid that domain
4) Are the links coming from PR 4 and PR 5 pages? If not the value goes down because if the domain has PR 4 and doesn't get links from PR 4 Pages(Not domains) then its value goes a bit down
Now if the domain passes all the factors..Expect it to go for 100+ to less than 150

go for DA rather than PR got a PR 0 with DA 40 and PA 51, everything i put on it indexes instantly and is well viewed by the G man

Yeah high DA domains also show better results and good thing is that they are easy to find and register for cheap. But if you get a domain with PR and DA its killer
