Sorry about that and thanks for bringing it to my attention.

It was a packing issue, I have since updated again and all is working with the latest version. The latest (working) update is available via the in-app update and the members area.

I will PM both of you the direct link to the download to save any unnecessary inconvenience.

Why is it after you add and link tier profile and remove it you can't add a new one?

thanks you for update on tier link. i use tier link and it is good

No probs.

how i get ******** link only?

You can disable all platforms that give a nofollow link in the platform list in the Setings=>Platform tab. The platforms with a "N" in the D0follow column give nofollow links, those with "Some" in the column will give a mix of d0follow and nofollow and those with a "Y" will give ******** links.

Nofollow links get a bad rep these days but from what I have seen recently nofollow links can definitely give an SEO boost.

can you give me one sample of live backlink please

Yeah sure, I am just running a link checker run on one of my old profiles so I can show you some link stats and a couple of example links. I will post again when the link check has finished.

Ok So I just did a link check on a profile to an old page (no longer online) and the stats from that link check on about 4000 links gave 3565 links still active. This is after some weeks, the page hasn't been online for about 3-4 weeks and no promotion on that profile has been done since before that time so 3500 from 4000 links is not a bad metric considering the youngest links in that list are over a month old. Whenever posting to domains such as these some will be down when the link check was done as opposed to all of those 500 links being taken down so some will come back online again.

The results break down as output to the log in NHSEO is as below, note there were links posted on domains with up to PR 7. This shows that 38% of links were posted on PR1+ domains and 15% were d0follow (without using any guestbook platforms which are mostly d0follow links).

This profile was used mainly as a test profile so it was run for most of its time without captcha solving (removes lots of the better link sources), without any guestbook platforms (hence the lower than normal d0follow) and without any limits to quality, obviously it is very easy to improve quality of overall links by setting limits.

I wouldn't normally post links but as it was mainly a test profile and the page the links are pointing to is no longer online I will post the .csv output of a select few of the links on the support forum, click through for example link outputs from No Hands SEO

So the logic for not using the questbook platforms is that they are pages and that will cause a lot of fluctuation in the number of links are they roll off the first page and this may cause a negative signal for the SERPs or are questbook platform considered more spammy? Maybe if just keep NSEO running to replace with more new ones as they roll off the page?

Just seems like a shame not to use them as would get more d0follow.

When do you plan on adding instantlinkindexer for a indexing option for NHSEO?

Questions about the Anchor Text on the Pages tab of the Profile Handle.
1) Does it overrides the Anchor text that was put in Profile Details page?
2) Can you use Spintax to vary the Anchor Text like you can on the Profiles Detail page?

Proxy update, after looking around at other proxy providers, I decided to just renew with BuyProxies as most people say, and I have experienced 1st hand, they are very responsive in replacing dead proxies. 1st set had 8 dead proxies right from the start. I got those replaced. I ran for 15 hours, and now another 8 are not working for Google. I got this reply from BuyProxies:

Hello!

You are running to fast. your method is to agressive.. and you ban the ips.
Please improve your method.

Not sure what settings need tuning other than have more delay time between searches. I have it currently at 40000 ms (have tried 30000, 35000). I have it set to use the Proxies for Searching, Posting and PR checking (even though I a not checking for PR). I am checking the Proxies every 15 mins. (just changed from 30 to see if this makes a difference).

Maybe I could give you access to the VPS and you could take a look around?

Not sure what else to do. Hope I can get it working or I might have to switch to a different tool.

Thanks

That didn't take long, had the 8 replaced when I posted this. Started running with 50 good proxies, already down to 39 from the time of my previous post to now. Maybe something is wrong with my VPS? Would a slow internet connection cause problems with the proxies? I am using Solid SEO VPS as recommended? Maybe I need to find a VPS in the US?

Lowered searching threads from 8 to 6. Increased time between searches to 45000 ms. Increased the time to check the proxies from 15 mins. to 30 mins. Starting this test with 39 good proxies as I don't think BuyProxies is just going to keep replacing proxies for me multiple times in a day.

How many searching threads are you using?

"Lowered searching threads from 8 to 6. "

So far from 1 hour ago, with 6 threads and increased time to 45000 ms and checking proxies every 30 mins., I have only lost 1 more proxy and am now down to 38.

I wouldn't ever tell others not to use any platform that they would like to use, I just choose not to use guestbooks as even though they often result in d0follow links they nearly always move around. I have never bought into the whole d0follow = good, nofollow = bad mentality that some do and I have always had good success with the link types that I use so I don't see any reason to change it.

If you want to use the different guestbook platforms then go for it, I am not saying they are bad or shouldn't be used.

Any anchor text entered for an individual page will overwrite that of the profile, it supports spinning just like the profile anchor texts.

As for the proxies I really don't know what to tell you, I do use buyproxies and haven't had nearly the %age of proxies go bad that you are seeing, with about 100 proxies I will run at 10 or less search threads (and all other settingsdefault) though so maybe that it is why. Are the proxies working when you first receive them?

Seems when I first get them, there are a few bad ones, like around 8 or so. But I get them replaced right away.

So if you are only running 10 search threads for 100, maybe I am running too many search threads and should dial it down closer to your 1 to 10 ratio.

Right now, with 45 seconds between searches, and 6 threads for 39 working proxies, and checking the proxies every 30 mins, I seem to be stable. When I started testing with these settings 3 hours ago, I had 39 working proxies. So far so good. Going to bed now, so I will leave it running at these setting for a few more hours and see if the proxies can handle it.

Thanks

Update:
After about 6 hours I dropped down to 35 proxies working on Google. I increased the the wait time in-between searches to 50 secs. These settings have now been running for about 9 hours, and now I am back to 41 working proxies out of 50. So I getting back proxies that had temporary bans at this point. So I am really close to my optimal settings. By no coincidence, when you factor in the amount of proxies I am using, the number of threads, and the time between my searches, it comes very close to the same ratio you, Jimbo, are using with 100 proxies, 10 threads and 30 secs. between searches. So I guess if you want your proxies to last and are running it 24/7, this is the ratio one needs to use.

Your numbers vs. mine:
your numbers ((1/ (30 secs/60 secs)) * 10 threads) / 100 proxies = .2
my numbers ((1/ (50 secs/60 secs)) * 6 threads) / 36 proxies = .2

So basically, each proxy can handle .2 searches per minute. At 50 proxies that is 600 searches per hour and 14,400 searches per day. And at 100 proxies, those numbers double to 1,200 and 28,800 respectively.

Anyway, that it my take on it. Glad to get this behind me. Now I need to tweak my profiles to handle targeting specific pages and keywords per page.

Thanks to everyone for their help.
