Hello guys. I'm new here. Maybe some of you can tell me what can i buy/resell on ebay, for getting money for "bigger projects/ideas" ?

Best thing to do your first go around is too acquire local items and talk people down on price which is easy in this economy and then
list the items. Next you can think about importing.

I was a powerseller back in the days and did it full time. I sold any and everything and made my self an expert on old items. I went to auctions for 3-4 days a week and bought and learned. You can start slow at thirft shops but first look at some items unde "completed listings" and see what is beign sold and sell the same things or better. Take time though and start slow and then soon you will build up inventory.

OP write this down because he said it right! Only thing I might add is stay far far away from high risk items to sell like merchandise on
vero because you do not want a suspension right out of the gate. Trust me! Once your account is older and has more feedback you
can get away with pushing that vero merchandise.

better write some articles to gather some money for projects..!! :)

No one is ever going to give away there niche and I think anyone in their right mind would not because when they do its going to get saturated.

The best thing for you to do is do your research and check the sold listings in different categories on eBay.

Go down to your local golf club and look on the perimeter just outside the golf club for stray golf balls, take them home and clean them, then sell them in packs of 10, 20 and 50 on ebay.

You could learn how to knitt socks and then sell them on ebay

look for the demand over there that are more popular currently. If you are new then better step into the normal items that supports you in sales.

Sell whatever moves fast and has a decent profit. Stock availability is also important, you wouldnt want to start selling something and when you need to restock, you are not able to get your hands on fresh stock. Maintaining sufficient stock levels is also important ( a little OT here) - There was once I overstocked this item and a new seller came onto ebay with a much lower selling price than me, essentially wiping out my margins. I ended up having to sell my remaining stock at loss just to clear them, rather than having dead stock
