Where to Go from here ?

hi,

I am a reader of this forum for quite sometime now and for the first time I got time to do something actually. I recently started a niche authority site ( 15th October) and as of now I have 5 articles up with all the on page seo done. I followed all the basic seo techniques and in 9 days i dont see any traffic. My niche is kind of vast and i have a lot of related keywords to add in.
So my question is where to go from here ? Should I keep on adding articles (I have about 50) and try link building which I havent started.
Should I make 5 blogs with 10 articles each and try link building amongst themselves ?
Or I look for something new and start afresh ?
Or should I try and reposition the keywords and stuff ?

To make a sale with Niche sites? or to build a brand for an authority site?

Your not sure for yourself.

You wont see results in such short time. If you are only Adsanse oriented than i suggest adding Unique HQ Handwritten Content everyday, and you will start seeing results after some time.

As virtualpurity said, SEO takes some time to show results. It can be a few months since you start seeing some traffic.

My advice would be to continue writing high quality articles and posting it to your facebook/twitter page as well as various forums in your niche. Seo should not be the only traffic source for your site anyways. As you write articles measure the bounce rate of the pages, the interest shown for content on forums and accordingly write the next set of articles.

eventually you will have so many articles and long tail traffic that you will start making $$$ (even without offpage SEO).

Should i do that on the same site or different blogs ? and refer each blog in some other blogs article ? Would that be a good thing to do ?

First off you need to find the keywords you can rank for : then keep producing the content related to the keywords - don't worry too much about Seo for a few months -- then start building links and building some social media accounts and sharing your articles through them.

Seo is not a race these days - work too fast on a fresh site and it will just disappear and be a waste of time.

Totally agree. You can't build an "authority" in 9 days. It's called authority for a reason. Build your site, build credibility. Over time, you'll get tons of traffic to your site.
