Give it at least 5 business days. If still no call back, pick a few businesses and do a follow up.
If you are nervous, start with smaller ones first, so that you know the one who will most likely pick up the phone is the owner himself/herself.
Otherwise, you might hit a receptionist and get shut down from there.

I might be wrong about this, but it seems like of you are waiting for response to see if it works for him, and if it does, then you jump in as well. I am saying this because while I was browsing thru 7878's thread, there were people who left a comment saying they will start. Then 30-40 pages later, I once again came across the same user posting how he got sidetracked and looking to start for real.
Sometimes, its just better to take action, dive in and mind your own business. What works or doesn't work for him doesn't mean it will be the same for you. Heck, you don't even know where he is from or what he mailed out, what companies he reached out to etc.. There are things you just need to experience it yourself to see if it's worthwhile for you.

HAHAHAHAHA. The funiest thing just happened. After I made that last post I got a call back from one of my leads about setting up the consultation. Now it's a matter of just selling the service. This method DOES work....hopefully there are more.

I don't think you have to apologize for anything .. you took action - took a risk - put out an action that could potentially fail ... and even before you got a response you were thinking to yourself - you know what I could have done this better ....
that's what this whole process is about - taking action / taking a risk and learning from it.

Just one question, are you going to do a real life meeting with them or just over the phone because I was thinking about sending letters out, but to cities that are farther away also to maximize the amount of clients.You see so many threads on BHW from people who can't make money // don't understand how to make money ---> well sometimes you got to put yourself out there and see if you sink or swim ....

I think I'll go whereever to get my first couple clients. I didn't send them to far out but the farthest ones are 2 hours by bus or like 30 minutes by car if I did. I live in a pretty big area so I have a good selection. Good luck to everyone else trying. Don't make your letters a template!!!Glad to hear this!
