YahooAnswers Bot -> Is it worth selling?

Hello,
Some time ago I created YA bot and I wonder if it is worth selling.

I doest contains all questions in database.
Features :
-asking questions
-answering questions
-choosing best answer

Green 'Answer' Tab = answer is online
Orange 'Feedback' Tab = u can choose best answer
Green 'Feedback' Tab = best answer is choosen
Green 'Url' Tab = question is online / Red is removed


What's more it contains level1 account creator (with avatars) - privacy settings changed, profile activated etc.


What do u think ?
Should I work on it and start selling it?
If yes how much is it worth ?

It can be worth $35 to $50, considering scrapebox costs $57 and is a great program, you probably won't sell it for any higher price.

He is not selling it. He is asking if its in demand.

OP, I would suggest a 29$ price tag for it and 10$ per year for maintaining the bot.

But don't you think that Yahoo themselves might force you to ban it for some reasons. Besides if you put it on sale they'll ask users in the future to type in CAPTCHA. So if I were you I wouldn't risk...

If you are planning to sell it and are serious about it, then plan everything upfront before releasing it to the community.

Plan the finances, if you are coding it on your own, then plan how many hrs per week you are gonna devote to it. Based on that, calculate the value of your time and plan the pricing of the software accordingly.

Preferably put a monthly recurring cost. It helps you manage your finances and also keeps you motivated to deliver to your users/buyers and keep the bot/software updated.

I would definitely sell a bot like this. Yahoo Answers are pretty good for targeting niche specific traffic.

i thinks your software is great. i suggest $17-$27 / years
don't sell lifetime update, i thinks /years is best option because you must maintenant your software

They say the best way to see if a product worth it is to ask yourself: Would I personally use it and benefit from it?

So, would you as a creator personally use it when promoting your site? Personally, I wouldn't and let me explain you why.

I spammed YA a while ago to promote my site. My time and efforts aside, YA didn't pay off as I expected. There's very little targeted traffic there. Spam comments don't work there. You have to submit well-structured and logical answers for people to follow your link. Nobody will jump from a clearly spam comment.

Also links are allowed only for level2+ users, and it also takes time to get this level. Accounts are banned - lots of obstacles.

To sum it up, there are millions of other ways to get traffic easier, and I really think there's no large audience for your tool.
