dns leaks?

when i visit the site 'whoer . net' to check if i am anonymous it shows me a "dns" thats almost always of a different country ip then my exit node ip.
i know it can be prevented by turning off javascript but the most website wont work without javascript.

can someone explain for dummies what that is anyway?

That site queries 3rd parties. As I recently found out whoer marks a proxy blacklisted only because 3rd party site they query list a range of IP's for being residential IP's. People should not blindly trusts these so called blacklists that rely on 3rd parties which are not accurate.
