Need some ideas about a new blog

Hello,
I've been thinking for the last month about starting a blog but I can't decide for what the blog is gonna be about.I just can't figure out what people are interested to read these days.
I would like to get suggestions from you all.And since I can't use my credit card online then I will have to go with a free hosting.I've been thinking for blogger,since it's easy and simple and Im not realy good at designing.Im also trying to get some profit by this,I see people having like 1-10,000 visitors per day and winning a lot of money,like 100$ daily or even more,Im not saying I'll be able to do that but at least Im gonna try and do whatever I can to get at least like 100-500$ monthly.I realy need this and I would like you to give me your ideas about how can I do this,since Im new in this and most of you are experienced and skilled writters,coders and I wanna learn from the best.

Well,Im good at playing games and talking about them,but they don't get much traffic I think.Apart from that I have knowledge about the game called Team Fortress 2,Im good at knowing the prices of the market and good at trading items,it's a realy famous game,I think it would be great to do that but Im not very sure.Im not realy good at talking about health and care(but I could search from google etc...) or designing.I'll probably make a blog about team fortress 2 but I need some more ideas,please suggest some.

Go to the "Making Money" board. Read the stickied threads.

Nobody here is going to come up with a business plan for you or reveal their own hot moneymaking niche. That's something you need to do on your own, and if you're unwilling to do even that, then it's best to avoid internet marketing entirely. This is not a field for the spoonfed.

I think that this would be a good idea for you. Since you said you are into gaming, then it is something that you have knowledge on. You have to have a passion for what you are blogging on or else you will not succeed at it. Good luck in this endeavor and keep us posted on your success.

It could be a good idea to pick a topic that actually interests you OP. Makes it a lot easier to keep at it. It will take a little while to get to the level of earnings you want but stick to it and you just might get there!

Choose something on which you are comfortable to update your website. If you are good on games, then writing reviews, tricks, cheats and go through of each levels would be great. You can also make short Youtube Videos and make your own channel. All these would grab attention in few weeks from gamers all over the world, if done correctly.

You say you are into gaming? Which platform are you gaming on? What type of games do you play (multiplayer-singleplayer)? Is the game you play a competitive online game?
There is alot of information you can give about the particular game you play if its big enough and online. People are always looking for ways on how to improve, or you could make a blog about the darkside of the game like latest hacks/cheats/scripts etc.

Or even just run a blog about the game you play itself, you will probably have alot of content (might not be able to think straight away) if you brainstorm properly! Even less graphical games like minecraft etc i know have a huge fanbase and i expect most of these are under the ages of 18 so easily sellable with e-book information or whichever!

Type in your game into youtube and take a look at what others are doing, you will most likely see 'lets play' videos etc! Find out what information they aren't giving that you feel you hold! Then gradually build a legit fan base, do not aim to make money, but to make a fan base and great content for them! Then you will see that you have loyal fans who like your content and can then think about monetising it.

*I have not done any experience in this, but i believe the theory behind it is legit judging from most of the gaming sites*
