I got an offer for the domain NeverBlu.com by this company NeverBlue... Should i sell the name? They offered my $1000 max. I am wondering if I should maybe keep it and develop it or wait and maybe get more for it. Thoughts please...?

Personally I would take it. I've had offers on my domains every time I tried holding out for more I ended up losing the buyer. I just suck at negotiations I guess. I look at them as investments, If I paid 10.00 and offered 1000.00 I'm not doing bad..

I had an offer of 5k, held out for 10k, made 0k.
What can you make more money with, a domain or 1000.00 to reinvest ?
Perhaps that is the question.

I personally suggest you sell it to them! I assume they want the domain because of the large amount of possible mistakes when typing "Neverblue.com". Also, if you develop the domain your identity can easily be mistaken for NeverBlue. Lastly, counter-offer them with $1,100 and let them know you'll sell for that. :)

Nah, it would take them more money to take it away from you legally. I would just tell them to take it for 1,500. Don't go too high but atleast try to get 50% more than 1k.

Ask for $5k and re-nego from there. They can afford it.

No, you have to play hard a bit to get better price. They have made the first offer, now go from there. Offer them $1,300 - $1,500. Remember, you pay only $10 - $15 to maintain the domain but they lose a lot of money because of the mispelling visitors.

I would not go too far though.

Do it! Sell it b4 they change their minds. I have leaned the hard way that even w/ "actual" company names you get no response.
All of the new domains coming out will make it tougher.

If you want, I give you the trick to sell them your site for 3k$ but I want 1k$ for my trick at the end of the transaction :)
PM me

I would say dont be greedy just sell it as remember its only one company in the whole world which is interested in your domain :) so better sell it and start your business from 1K earning something better.
