Getting Legit Facebook Likes

Hi,

I have a question to people that run their own business. The questions I have are:

1. What would you recommend for getting more Facebook likes to your page that will bring long term gains as well as help out in the short run?
2. If I buy Facebook likes, what are the drawbacks of it? Can my Facebook page get banned for getting fake likes? Lots of providers give fake likes that dissapear over time, is there any way to ensure that they won't start going down?
3. Which techniques and methods would you recommend to use if it is "legit" business?

If its a "legit" business like you say, then go with facebook advertising. I'm planning to do purchase facebook advertising soon.

Buying likes is useless now, unless you need it just for social proof.

If you are producing good content which is sharable, people will automatically like your page. Just get an initial boost with a small ppc campaign.

Any money spend on buying likes today for anything other than social proof is money down the drain.

Just my 2 cents.

If its just for social proof, then buy it from any BST here, there are many members selling likes for cheap.

Learn custom audience on fb ads.

This should give you penny clicks since it's super targeted if done right.

I agree, although you should know how to optimize the campaign to get those penny clicks not every one can do that.

Well firstly, buying likes != traffic. So lets not make illogical comparisons.

People who like your page do not necessarily buy your products or interact with you unless you engage them with good quality viral content. Secondly you need to pay to facebook everytime by boosting your post if you want to reach 100% of the fans which you already paid for.

End of the day its useless cause you need to pay every time to reach your own fans. FB becomes rich with your fans not you.

If you are spending money to acquire them better spend on something which you can use to reach them later for free or atleast negligible costs, like adding them to mailing list.

I would prefer making a mailing list rather than building a fan page, if I have to spend same amount of money on them. At least I can reach all my list for a small $ amount which I pay once a month not every time I mail.

Also to add, by no way am condoning social media here, I myself drive more traffic from fb than from Google for most of my campaigns, but not my buying likes

Secondly You dont have to pay Facebook to Post If your fans interact you can even get 100% interaction when facebook talks about average of 10-15% reach it says average reach if your fans dont interact and FB stops showing your posts on their homepage its not fb fault its your fault to fail to get fans engaged

It boils down to viral content, which is what I said in my first post. Read it again may be.

The content which gets shared by people who MAY NOT EVEN HAVE LIKED YOUR PAGE, causes the talking about numbers to be greater than page likes. Hope this answers your question. If not search on FB help pages they will answer the same.

Spending money on likes is useless, rather spend the same money on making good content which people will like and share.

I know that many times they do not like the fake likes and sometimes they do get deleted. In my past experience, I would have to say that it is not worth it to purchase fake likes.

best way is to start a Facebook Profile, that way you can add costumers, then after profile gets to 5K convert it to Fanpage, and you have a very good start, then you can create a new profile and add more people to it, and you can either invite them to like your page, or get to 5K again, convert to fanpage and merge
