With article submssions, should I submit the same article to several sites or should each article be different for each article directory I submit to?

I only submit to ezinearticles.com with great results... Focus on long tail keywords for better results thats the key with ezinearitlces

If you want the articles to have a chance to rank they should be somewhat different for each directory to prevent duplicate content. You can use tools like aticle post robot to do this quickly. It will mass submit your articles to all the directories and also you can select create a random composite of the article.

With the random composite of the article it works like this. You write say 3 articles (the more you write the more unique) with the same number of paragraphs. The software automatically grabs paragraphs from each of the 3 articles and creates a new article and submits it.

So if you write 3 articles each with 8 paragraphs you have roughly 512 (8X8X8) semi unique articles. Article post robot is pretty efficient and submits to about 400 article directories.

It also has some other cool semi content spinning options for more uniquiness if you want to do all that. But it is much just to write more articles so the program has more paragraphs to grab from.

You can submit your same articles to several sites.... But note that if you planning to submit your article to ezine*articles.com, then first submit the article to them... After that you can submit your articles to anywhere you wish....

It's better if you submit the same article to as many article directories as you can.

Use an automated software for that or a service like at Isnare.com...

The other option that you mentioned will be soooooo time consuming and boring...it's not worth it

What I am doing now is writing one article and submitting it to ezinearticles, then altering that article and using article submitter to sumbit to a large list that I am signing up for. I still have to finish going through the confirmation emails, however I should be done with that tonight and have a few hundred directories submitting the altered article to. I will look into article spinning software to help give me several variations of the same article. I appreciate the help everyone, at least now I know I can submit the same article to several smaller directories and yes I am targeting long tale keywords currently.

Long tail keyword is something like "blackhat method make money", or
"make money using blackhat techniques"
while short tail keyword is "blackhat money" or "make money".

Article marketing is good to drive visitors to your site, create backlinks, and also to build up reputation.
You shall make money by your main site. Article marketing helps to get more traffic, while more traffic may convert in more money.

I have submitted quite a few articles over the years. one thing that I recently learned that has made the difference in my earnings with articles is that you have to lead them into your resource box.

I used to tell the full story and end my articles. you know how we are taught in school to end with a conclusion.

Now I just end it and finish up in the resource box by saying something like...

"Discover the 5 things about xxx" and I link the keyword to the site I want them to go to.

So don't tell them the whole story, the article is a teaser to get them to go to your site.

Also, add it to propeller but add an additional keyword(related) you want to rank for in the title like this:

banana split - "your original or another title"

Propeller is getting in Google in a couple of hours

Some will tell you to submit unique articles to each directory and others will tell you you can submit the same article to multiple directories. I'm from the school of a single article to multiple directories. Google doesn't treat all article directories the same and you'll get the most juice from the directory with the most authority... which is why it's best to post it to EZA first because big G believes it's "more important" from an authority standpoint than other article directories. That's why most article marketers focus on EZA. Add in some parasite SEO and you can own the search term you're trying to rank for way beyond the usual 2 weeks you get from regular methods.

No.

I've been doing Article/Bum Marketing for quite a while and everyone has their own opinion. Nobody is right, it's how YOU benefit from what you're doing.

Authority means a site is important in the eyes of the search engine. The more important a site is, the more authority and higher PR it will have. So I doubt that your site would have a greater page rank than EZA, which has a Google PR of 6.

What you want to do is to 1st submit your article to an authority site with a high PR article directory like EZA. After it's published on EZA, post it on your site or blog with it linking back to it on EZA's site. I've done this before with a blogger blog and had zero problems getting the article ranked above the fold on 1st page of Google for a search term with approx. 400K competing pages.

So when you are submitting articles targeting multiple sites of yours...Do you use separate accounts at the different article directories? Do you use pen names for different sites of yours?

If you are trying to be an authority on a subject, it seems like you wouldn't want your name out there as writing articles about 5 or 10 different subjects. Almost like it would kill your reputation by not limiting to related topics.


Because I think most people have a fairly broad range of topics amongst their sites....
