Duplicate content on inner pages

Hy.

I must take a decision quick so I don't have the time to run accurate tests this is why I'm asking your opinion about this.

I want to build an website that will have duplicate content on many of his inner pages. Only a few words will be different.

To give you and example:

Let's say you got an website about house cleaning and you offer this service in many city's and on the website you will create a page for each city.

All the content on the pages with city's will be the same, the only difference will be the name of the city and maybe few words.

Will this be bad for SEO?

What is your opinion and how can I avoid this? I'm talking about a non-English site (so getting auto generated content will be difficult) and second I'm talking about thousandth of pages (like 5000 - 6000 pages)

G have made big strides to clobber sites in English with duplicate content...

But if the site is in Rumanian I would give it a try - as I cannot see how G will have the robots set up right to slap a site from Romania with content in the native language...

alot of high ranking websites have dup content everywhere.. but they tend to have alot of other unique content as well.. I would avoid having the same paragraph on every page..

Because G setting up algorithms - robots et al is much more complicated than what copyscape attempts to do match text with accuracy

@OP, don't do this. I suggest that you hire someone who will write several huge spun articles, this will probably cost around 500$ for your whole website but this is a must thing to do.. Make sure you don't go with ordinary spun article writers, find some pro's and pay them decently for their work cause this is gonna be very, very hard job!

After all the research I come more and more to this conclusion (spun article) but I will still run a test for this (duplicate content on inner pages) after I'm done with the current project.

Any suggestion for a free tool to check spun article for Duplicate between each other?

From my point of view this discussion is still open so if you got any more details please give me help here.

As far as i know, duplicate content within your website trigger bigger potential penalties.

If other site copy your content, Google might let you get away, BUT in your case, i don't think it worth the time.
