Hello everyone!
I've been lacking motivation so I thought starting up a journal and frequently updating it might help. I'm starting my first venture into offline marketing. I'll start off by selling websites to business owners who currently don't have one through direct mail and calls.
What I've done so far:
Bought domain
Set up logo
Set up Skype for calls
Got envelopes

Now I need to set up my website. If anyone that reads this knows any good wordpress themes for my purpose, I would love to get them!
Let's go!

Alright, time for update 1:
Got my e-mail set up. I've got no theme for my site yet so it's just an under construction theme for now. I've collected potential customers and put their info in a spreadsheet.

Well. Thats a good start. pick a good theme. search the freebies/giveaway for a huge selection. I find it hard to sell websites to people who don't have them, its easier to sell website to people that have them because theres arent good enough.

Interesting. Well I'll see how it works out, I could always do another campaign where I target people with websites.

Use some voodoo On them --- Good Luck and KNock em dead.

Go to infofree.com and email blast some using - greenrope and proworkflow

Works as a great system and can get you busy fast.

use some good pics.. broad, bold.. but not with too much ado... good luck.. :)

Thanks a lot for the tips guys! Will look into them.
Update 2:
Been working on my sales letter. Thinking about having 2 pages. I'm looking into other sales letters to get some inspiration.

Ultimately your best tools will be your phone and your sellings skills, many business owners will want to meet face to face

Here's a suggestion.. Don't use skype as a form of communiaction method setup a 800 phone number for others to call you from. It would seem more professional. Anyways best of luck with your journey.

True. Since it is my first time I'm not expecting the greatest results but I'll still be doing the best I can.

Yeah I thought about that and I've decided to switch from Skype actually. More details in my update post

Update 3:
So I decided to switch from Skype to something else. I'm getting my own number and it's getting set up. Also been working on my site. Found a theme I think is appropriate. Have to start writing the sales letter. I'll include how much money I've spent on everything so far in the next update!

Update 4:
Been studying for exams so haven't been able to do much. I've been messing with the template on my site but I'm not really feeling it yet, so if anyone has any suggestions I'm open! Still haven't written my sales letter yet.
Expenses so far: $235
