How much would you guys charge a client for 5 medium competition keywords?

I'm succeeding just fine asshole. Why would I want you to find me customers? Asking a simple opinion based question on a forum is now equivalent to asking for clients and service? I've done my homework, I've done my keyword research. Now I'm researching some prices by asking other people what they charge.

3 - Inferred a simple opinion based question as me being a spoiled brat and asking others
to do work for me like finding clients and doing services
4 - Told me to do research which I've already done. Doesn't grasp the concept that asking other people questions is a form of research.
5 - Made a 100% complete assumption that I'm unsuccessful and has absolutely no idea who I am and what I do.

That's a tough question. I typically charge what I believe the client can actually afford (this depends on the business etc). If its a local plumber, you know the guy can't afford much in terms of monthly SEO.

I would analyze the industry and figure out how much the client can actually afford. Do keep in mind, they may also be throwing money at PPC, social media etc (this should be of no direct concern to you, but it does effect the overall marketing budget the client has to spend each month). Then work out a price for him. I had one client in a very competitive industry who paid me $2K for 1 keyword. Yes, just one keyword. But each potential client would spend a few thousand dollars if converted.

Anyway...it is hard to say really because what do you define as medium competition? What niche? It's best to try and estimate how much more traffic the guy would receive from your service, work out how much he would make and then charge him going off that. It's not really possible to have a universal rate for all niches and business. You'll make more money and convert more clients if you charge them appropriately, for example someone selling diamond rings or something could be charged 10x more than someone selling flowers.

I would charge $1000-$1500 a month. I would give a 90-120 day time period for some positive movement, but do not guarantee anything because there is no such thing in any industry.
