Host The Name has nothing to do with PowerUpHosting and the servers are completely different.
The servers are located in US, you can go to speedtest.net and do a speedtestin LA and you will see that the ping is less then 4ms which shows the servers are located in US.

Yes, you will since it's a different OS. You will have to backup everything. The IP given to you is Private dedicated IP address.

The support just got back to me and told me I have to pay $95 if I don't have a Windows 7 license. I might just have to get a refund since I don't want to pay for this and my software didn't work with this Windows version.. Do you have any other free options?

I also purchased Velo Two. How long does it take to finish setup? It's been a few hours but I haven't received it Eager to see if it fits my needs.
Eager to see if it fits my needs.I ordered a Velo Two about 1 1/2 months ago. It worked fine at first, but eventually it started to slow down to a crawl. 50 GSA Threads, Captcha Sniper, Seo Indexer (20 threads) and it's very unresponsive. I've used Powerup Hosting before and I haven't had these problems before.

You will be on 1000 Mbps unrestricted and unmetered network port, so it all depends upon the server you're going to connect to. If they have a cap then the speed will be ok but if they don't cap the speed then you will enjoy the real upload and download speed.

Please remember, the way how software works differs drastically with each update, if one of the update release is buggy, it can start consuming more resources.
Further, being very unresponsive is a global term and can be caused by a lot of problem. We have few customers who were having issues with their ISP didn't realize the issue was with ISP until the ISP sorted out the issue.
Also, it's not just about 50 threads or 100 threads, it's about what kind of platform you're using. Some platform requires more work hence they consume more resources while other platform don't.
Overall, I would say, if it was fine in the beginning then your server is perfectly fine because you get detected resources and we never oversell any server.
Further, you can always open up a ticket and the techs will do some test to figure out if their are any issues with the VPS

Yeah, I have issues connecting. It takes me about 10-15 minutes and 4 or 5 tries sometimes. That's partly due to captcha sniper using more CPU than normal.
Yes, and I did end up making some progress after submitting a ticket, but I didn't like the fact that they were telling me that I was "overloading" my VPS and recommending that I upgrade. That really threw me off. If I'm not getting the performance I expected with Velo Two then I wouldn't be interested in upgrading. But, yeah I did make some progress. It's working better.
