OP, even then, you still have no idea what their niche actually is.

At alexa.com you can see some 4 or 5 keywords for which the site ranks. Normally they'll be related to the niche, though I've seen some Cuil's there.

Not every website has the words on it describing what 'Niche' it is in, so I don't think this is possible. A Niche can also be subjective.

The way is to look at the website itself. Then you can see the source code and try picking up the keywords and description and see the related websites. It will be time consuming but you can sort out the list perfectly by doing this.

I don't really understand the benefit of doing that. When you visit a weight loss blog, you can easily figure that out from posts and banners. Or you could use Google's KPlanner to get a FEEL of its kws.
