I need some help to restore my articles from godaddy.

Hi,

I lost all my articles from my website. They were deleted by a newbee I was teaching some basics on wordpress.

I have tried restoring the site on godaddy to an earlier stage but i get this for hours

Restoring... this is taking a while, please be patient.

Has anybody had this experience before... what can i do?

Godaddy has some wonderful sql servers. They can die at random. Export the database and keep a local copy for large content sites. As for their failing services, call them up and complain. You might get lucky and get someone to activate the back up service manually.

I have tried their support and they directed me to a link with some instructions...

I know their support is not that good. I there anybody who has ever restored their sites on godaddy?

They dont use cpanel right? It may take hours to forever.
