F*** Google, Time for the SEO Revolution

I think its time internet marketers, SEO providers and small business website owners fight back and tell Google to Fuck off with all of their updates. I am getting sick and tired of worrying every month about updates, penalties, Black hat, white hat, clients bitching. All over what? Because we use software to automate things that would normally take 10 times the amount of man hours to do things. Doesn't Google and every successful business automate things as much as they can?

And don't get me started on "O you didn't create White Hat links or a good website so your rankings..." STFU when a client is paying you $1,000's of dollars a month to rank a website and you see competition with hundreds of thousands of crappy automated links ranking #1 for years. Don't tell me to actively engage in Guest posts, social media and whatever it is White hat SEO's do. You do nothing other than sit there and wish your website will rank.

These updates make no sense, when Panda came out the results were still decent and it got rid of some sites that didn't need to be on the 1st page. Then Penguin 1 came out, ok fine, Penguin 2.0 starting to piss me off, Humming bird and Penguin 2.1 Shit hit the fan. I don't understand what the SERPs are showing. SERPs are now showing spammed Youtube Videos, spammed Press Releases, spammed Web 2.0s and shitty websites with a clean link profile but only have 5-10 links.

Google is too dominant and too controlling and the only way to combat that is by taking market share away from them. As internet marketers, web designers, blog owners who actually are the ones providing value to search engines because they display our websites to visitors we need to start fighting back. We are at the forefront of what 99% of traffic listens to and reads. When we start displaying in our blog posts and websites screen shots of shitty irrelevant sites in the SERPs and how Bing and Yahoo are much better search engines now, I believe there will be a huge shift. I am going to recommend all of my clients, family, friends and business contacts to start using Bing and Yahoo, hell even Ask Jeeves. I am uninstalling Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google + from my websites.

Healthy competition only helps businesses and will help make our jobs a lot easier. Hell, if we don't do this SEO's won't have a job in the near future

That's true mate. we are always fighting google. Many blackhat methods are still working and even shortlived ranking will gain us something to cheer. It is really long way to go to get people back to yahoo and bing though. Still your idea is recommended.

Your intentions are good, but this is only a rant and nothing more. No one can touch Google as of now. It WILL fall eventually though; maybe in 5 years, maybe in 10, who can really tell. What I CAN tell is that a rant from a bunch of angry SEO's won't change anything. If Matt Cutts get to read this he'll just laugh his ass off.

To sum up, Google is king right now and we can't do shit about. Don't rant. ADAPT and keep milking Google.

I agree they are crap, I had a 100% white hat blog with no black hat, 100% unique content never used any where before, the blog is beautifully made and the content is very informative, there was no spam every with this blog and all of the sudden my site doped ranks for no reason at all, they are making their algorithm to complex and it's taken it's tool on everyone doing things the right way, they are all about big business and nothing else, Google is just like any other corporation out there, I personally have boycotted them and there spammed advertizing, they are just trying to hurt us because we are there competition.

Yes, this is rant But a very serious one. Look at how many people have already felt that competition is needed in the search engine market.

What happens when 10% of the SEO industry and web designers all start telling their clients and traffic that Google is dead, and pulling up crap results with proof? What then? Don't our clients pay us to consult them on what is going on in the tech industry? Shouldn't Google be afraid of the collective power that we have? Heck if it wasn't for us Google would be damn poor because with out content creators, web designers, and people doing internet marketing no one would give a shit about a search engine.

Just wait, I will have some ideas that can get started and make an impact for the SEO revolution. Maybe start an online petition for website owners who vow not to use/care about Google

Hell, why not get a big enough petition and send it to Bill Gates or whoever is in control of Bing. Wouldn't that be a great way to say screw you Google

Publishers can make a real dent on their bottom line if they all had an option of another decent contextual ad network.

Where's the fucking competition? Yahoo is not even making an effort....it's like there's a conspiracy... Where's Microsoft putting on any decent competition against Google?

It's not only Google's responsibility here, their competition really sucks ass.

IMHO their long tail query analyzer sucks balls. They must be testing on an easy informal terms, like "Justin Bieber", which dominate the search market. When these terms involved they are kings. However, once you type a slightly complicated query, the search results are as relevant as child's opinion on how to treat diabetes.

I just noticed that and read them. Lol there are ones from 2010 and 2011. I think bartsimpson, has a really good idea about Adsense. If all of the affiliate marketers and SEO's who use adsense took that advertising to a competitor that would really hurt Google financially.

They don't really understand SEO, so I just let them know all the privacy issues there are with G00gle and how they're hurting small business, that works. It doesn't help much to switch but I bet a lot of you bitching still use G for searches and what is that telling them. If you're in the SEO field you still gotta use them for clients and and personal seo sometimes, but I try and get away as much as I can. No way in hell would I use adwords unless I have to for a client. But just get away from them as much as you can and it will put a dent if more people do it.

Not sure why people switch to Bing. No need to harm your search results, just use https://duckduckgo.com/, it aggregates results from major search engines.
