.com vs .net vs .org for Micro Niche Sites! Which is better? Your experience appreciated.

Hello Guys,

I have been doing a little bit of researching lately on choosing Micro Niche Sites and from what I have observed is that .com dominates almost all the time.

I am planning on building some 30+ MNS sites and I just want to be sure to use the right Top Level Domain to boost my SEO rankings as much as possible in every aspect.


Have you guys seen the same thing as me, that .com dominates over .net and .org no matter the backlinks in Micro Niche Sites?

Not much difference in terms of ranking factor. However, better to choose .com if available.

I second what xavier00 said. Ranking seems to be almost the same for a .com, .net or a .org for me

As Xavier stated, in terms of SEO there is no diffrence. But the .com shows more trust, or at least that's what i saw.

If you're going for a quick profit then it doesn't matter, .com being better, .net or .org being rankable.

If you're doing the long run, .com is the way to go.

Nah, Im going for long run! Choosing the right ones in possibly evergreen niches.

Yeah Wikipedia kills it. But I don't like to touch some niches where the wiki sites can take over, or where amazon and ebay absolutely dominate.

I like more those type of sites where the Top Spots are just taken from sites not very specific on the niche, since I want to dominate that niche!

Agree. I just wanted to give you a couple of examples of .org outranking every other site. It's just not as common as .com.
