Both have 15k exact / month and top 10 are 70% big chains like amazon.

It is about building an Ecommerce arround that KW

What do you choose ?

I always hate keywords where amazon sits on the Top Spot. It makes everything harder since it is a product keyword and people are looking for a trusted source for that product.

Start with 1st one since the onpage of the top 10 seems bad so its quite easier to rank provided you do perfect onpage and build similar amount if links which you see under BLP(backlink to the page).

@ bartosimpsonio - I like to fully concentrate in 1 projet at time so I have things done. I would really like to build a long term ecommerce and It involves hard work, research, build ecommerce, design, find products, suppllier,.... As I do all myself I canot make both.
@ PrinceVisi - you raised a good point here. But maybe if Amazon is in top position is because G didnt find better alternative.... Here is where I want to be. Do you think Between 2 identical products G will promote Amazon or small ecommerce ?

That volume and data makes me think they're short tail generic kw's (maybe product names), so I would chose none. Go for longtails that have less traffic but a more pronounced buying intent by the users.

Take in consideration kw's like "product name price" or "product name discounts" or "product name offers" or "product name buy now". Make a huge list that cumulated equals the main kw volume. Do the same for the other kw.

You'll spend less and cumulated it will bring you better ROI than those 2 kw's combined. If for the niche you have lower prices and/or better perks (free gifts with purchases or discounts) you'll make a killing.

Why tackle mountains when are lots of easy to climb small hills out there?
