Hello Friends,

My name is Sujata Sharma and i am doing work on "solar" website from 7 months, But main problem is i can't get top 10 results from my work.

My daily working steps is:

1. Directory Submissions daily 50 sub
2. Article Submissions daily 15 sub
3. Social bookmarking daily 5 sub
4. Local listing daily 2 or 3 sub

My total targeted keywords are only 6

Right now it is major problem, So i want some solutions with white hat SEO.

Thanks
Sujata sharma

Try some other backlinks:
- web 2.0 posts from high PR sites (wordpress.com, etc)
- links from site builders (wix, weebly, etc)
- social signals (facebook, twitter, google+, etc)

This will diversify your backlink campaign and help you rise in SERPs.
You can do all of this manually - white hat like you said.

The things you are doing is Old School, Just spend a month here in BHW you will know what you need to do to get to Top 10.

You're basically asking the question of SEO, brother. "How do I rank?" - Stay around and learn, there's a ton to learn...

Or you can outsource your SEO, go to the marketplace here and buy some services to try out....

Sujata, I must tell you that Solar panels and related keywords are highly competitive. You must have a good domain and proper on-page seo along with real social signals and high quality backlinks from various resource to rank on top 10 and I guess it would take you 3-4 months if you want complete white hat solution.

All of these answers and not one person have asked 'Have you looked at your competitors links?'

There is no one rule of thumb when it comes to SEO. Every industry is so so different and if your website is the one to stand out from everyone else, then you'll get a slap by Google.

It's totally fine to do all of your generic link building but you must try and look at what your competitors are doing

Is the site your own, or a client's?

Focus on on-site content if you can, or else no amount of submissions will be worth anything as it doesn't sound like the site is monetized to succeed via SEO ranking itself, but is an information site(adsense maybe?), or a portal to a solar energy sales page.
