Now, before I get bashed and smashed just hear me out.

I have been on the Hire a Freelancer section a few times and there has been something that struck me as deceiving. Individuals who register and one of their first posts is instructing the OP of the Hire A Freelancer thread to contact them. Now, I believe there was an issue a last month and prior months about someone hiring a brand new member and that new member ran off with their money.

That is located here:http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/shit-list/602624-shitlist-fbseo.html

Now, my suggestion is something like how the PM system works. You cannot reply in the Hire A Freelancer threads until you have built up some trust of some kind. Maybe a post count, a time frame, etc. I'm just throwing out ideas here to see if we can remedy this situation. Because if a person gets the job, they can run with the money, transfer it, and have almost nothing to lose.

Let's here what some of you guys have to say. I think it's a good idea however everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I wouldn't mind hearing them.

Most of new members join the forum to offer their services if they dont have opportunity to offer their services most of them will never comeback to forum

I have Seen members with thousands of rep scamming and some new members deliver their best services in my opinion due to some scammers don't take away opportunity of newbies to start earning early on bHW that way they can also become active member of community

Just my Humble opinion

Valid point. However, when they come on and have the ability to scam immediately, it just does not seem practical. That's why I posted this in the suggestions section. I believe there can be some sort of remedy to this though. I mean, a 30 day limit, a post count limit. Obviously this thread is open to ideas and there will be conflicting opinions. It just seems like a nice thwart to some scamming.

Sure. But here are the demerits of the system :
Not all newbies are scammers. Some of them are legit looking to make a decent amount of money on the web by helping others. You cannot base a person on the number of stars besides his profile. There are cases in which certain newbies have been able to provide services that veterans couldn't.

Making a post count limit for that section will result in more post spamming. The thing is already getting out of hand because of the 15 post requirement to send PMs.

Like I said, your suggestion has merits and I appreciate your thread. Don't take me wrong.

let it as it is.

even most of buyers have 1 post.
i not want to see bhw spammed by sellers to inflate post count.

if you think post counts is going to make me trusted then i am waiting for a $10k project from you. (i have a stealth paypal with stealth mode)

True, not all new members are scammers. The idea behind it is to keep it that way. The link I showed you above is just one of the MANY shitlists that have been brought upon a new member because they have nothing to lose by running off with someones money and creating a new account. I'm not saying that's the case all of the time, I am saying that's the case enough of the time to justify my suggestion. I know you only joined like 5 months ago and the stars 'mean nothing to you', yet you just posted a "I have 2000 posts" thread, however, the post count was only one of a few suggestions. I wanted to see a more clever idea than I had posted. The 15 posts for PMing is not a problem at all. I'd say increase it a bit if they could. You know how many spammers would flood your inbox if that wasn't on? Nonetheless, I appreciate your participation and you are very much entitled to your opinion.

I enjoy sarcasm from time to time. I had my first $10k project back before I even knew about BHW. But I am not here for senseless bragging or sarcasm. I am guessing by your post, you meant that buyers would disappear and sellers would just come here to inflate their post count? Again, not only about post count. It could be any measure. Post count, time frame, or anything else.

OP, it seems like a good idea.

You should add it to this thread.
